Crulic – The Path to Beyond

The animated documentary Crulic – The Path to Beyond tells the story of a 33-year-old Romanian called Crulic who died in a Polish prison while on hunger strike. Acclaimed Romanian actor, Vlad Ivanov, lent Crulic his voice which, irony-filled, addresses the audience from beyond the grave. Powerful visuals, breathtaking hand-drawings, collages, stop motion and cutout animation techniques make this a remarkable, surprisingly compact and unforgettable film.
